It is an established fact that a well managed classroom is essential for effective learning and building classroom discipline. Management principles for a classroom is not a static feature. Human society is a constantly evolving phenomena. The evolutionary principles driving the change is a reflection of human attitudes and behaviors.


Changes in the society have a direct bearing on the learning environment of a school and family. A teacher's pre-service training may often not be adequate to meet with the live energies she/he faces in her classroom.A parent's expectations of her/his child and school may not always be in tune with what is achievable.Parents often compare the pedagogy of different schools and occasionally may have misgivings on what is being delivered to their children.Psychology of young adults and how to qualitatively interact with them, the importance of spending time with their children are some areas parents would welcome a workshop on.A well informed parent is a school's strength.


An efficient administrator understands that the school's unique features are because of the students, teachers and parents who give it that identity. This means that a standardized procedure which pre-service training provides to a teacher will have to be realigned to the goals of the school. One of the problems against effective learning is the contextual delivery of lessons. Students learn to use technology because they see it as something that is useful in their lives. How can classrooms be made relevant so that the students see it as useful?


In order to achieve the best results, parents and teachers must be provided with training that is contextually relevant to their school. The methodologies that best suit the learners are wide and varied and are based on a well researched factors. Training in affective domain needs to be prioritized so that cognition can be improved.
